Plexal to lead US trade mission with startups and government at RSA Conference 2025

Plexal is heading to San Francisco at the end of this month to lead an international trade mission, during which we’ll attend RSA Conference 2025. Fittingly, this year’s RSA theme is “Many Voices. One Community” and we’ll be attending with a cohort of startup leaders and government stakeholders alike.

During our time in California, we’ll proudly host UK House alongside the Department for Business and Trade, in partnership with the British Embassy, Washington. UK House serves as a hub for UK organisations exploring opportunities in the US market and for international organisations looking to engage with the UK.

Those attending can expect to experience panel discussions, networking events and insight-sharing sessions covering the latest cyber security trends, challenges and opportunities in line with RSA.

We’ll also represent two of our flagship programmes:

Cyber Runway
The UK’s largest cyber accelerator that helped startups and scaleups grow, innovate and lead through tailored business support, connections and investment readiness. Plexal’s Senior Director, Monika Radclyffe, and Innovation Lead, Rob Kearney, will be on the ground, guiding a cohort of eight alumni companies to understand the US ecosystem and potential for growth in the region.

The alumni joining us will include:

  • Athenian Tech, which specialises in AI-driven threat detection and data protection.
  • CybaVerse, which is simplifying cyber security for SMEs with a SaaS cyber security management system.
  • Muse Sciences, which delivers virtual Chief Information Security Officer (VCISO) solutions.
  • Naq Cyber, which automates cyber security, compliance and due diligence for SMEs.
  • Overe, which provides an automated SaaS security platform.
  • PRAEFERRE, which helps data-dependent companies simplify security, prevent attacks and ensure compliance.
  • Stealthium, the virtualisation environment for security and development engineers.
  • zally, a behavioural biometrics company providing continuous user authentication.

LASR (Laboratory for AI Security Research)
The public-private partnership is dedicated to advancing AI security, driving innovation and collaboration across industry, academia and government. Plexal’s CCO, Saj Huq, and Innovation Lead, Holly Smith, will be present to discuss LASR’s progress so far and the opportunities ahead, with a key focus on engaging interested stakeholders.

Monika Radclyffe, Senior Director at Plexal, says: “The theme for this year’s RSA is Many Voices. One Community, which really resonates with Plexal’s ethos and our trade mission. Each year, RSA is a must-attend event for us and this upcoming collaborative trip with innovators we’re supporting and partners we’re working with closely is no different, so we’re excited to close the gap between UK and US leaders and organisations across cyber security and AI.”

In the words of the RSA team: “Let’s showcase the extraordinary impact of a united community. This is where we truly shine as one.”
